DPF — soot, ash and last regeneration
Soot and ash loading plus distance since the last regeneration. Exact parameters depend on the engine controller.
Important vehicle data in one place. For diesels the priority is DPF monitoring: soot load, ash, exhaust temperature, distance since the last regeneration and a clear alert when regeneration starts.
Instead of guessing from RPM, fuel consumption or fan behaviour, SYNC 3 can show a clear alert together with DPF data. That makes active regeneration easier to recognise and less likely to be interrupted accidentally.
CanBox monitors data exposed by the vehicle. It does not force regeneration and does not replace workshop diagnostics.Soot and ash loading plus distance since the last regeneration. Exact parameters depend on the engine controller.
Exhaust thermal data helps identify conditions associated with active regeneration.
A real temperature value instead of only an approximate gauge.
State of charge, voltage and charge/discharge current depending on the vehicle.
TPMS values can be shown in the same panel as other vehicle data.
Depending on hardware and vehicle configuration, additional I/O and a front camera may be supported.
The module reads selected information from factory vehicle controllers.
The modified SYNC 3 interface displays the values without requiring a phone running an OBD app.
The data panel stays accessible and the DPF alert draws attention when regeneration starts.
Available data and wiring differ between Ford platforms. C1MCA and CGEA vehicles may use different CAN connection methods. Before purchase, check VIN, model, year, engine and SYNC 3 version.
